Q. How Do I Book?
We are an online booking only bridal boutique, provided through our online booking system to make it easy for all our Bride's. We cannot offer bookings via phone or emails due to high demand and to help reduce disappointments.
A booking fee is required to secure your slot of £20, This is to secure your appointment and allow Auralou-Bridal to offer exclusivity.
£20 will be redeemable towards a dress purchased on the day from Auralou-Bridal.

Please be aware that we are a NO children boutique and booking parties can only accommodate up to three people included in your booking confirmation. We can however, offer additional party members, But here at Auralou-Bridal we strongly advise keeping your party to a minimum as this eliminates additional stress and overwhelming opinions.
We are happy to provide a video service for other members of your bridal party if required through a private video chat with no maximum amount. We do not require you to provide cameras for this just please arrange this directly prior to your booking with Auralou-Bridal to allow us time for preparation of this via Email confirmation and links. We cannot offer this service on the day due to limited time during your appointment and our dedication is on our brides finding the perfect dress.
Q. Do you charge for appointments?
Yes, we do. We charge £20 booking fee for your first appointment. This fee is taken at the time of booking your appointment.
This is to secure your appointment and allow Auralou-Bridal to offer exclusivity to our boutique.
The £20 will be deducted from the cost of a Gown if purchased on the day of fitting at Auralou-Bridal.

Q. Does Auralou-Bridal offer Alterations on site?
Auralou-Bridal suggests using the award-winning seamstress Lenka, who are based locally here in chepstow.

We advise booking your alterations appointments on the same day as purchasing your dress!
Lenka is an amazing seamstress and gets very busy, to avoid disappointment or complications booking sooner rather than later is advisable

Q. When should I start looking for my dress?
Q. What Is The Average Shipping Timeframe?
Shipping can be between 6-12 months, depending on a few variables.
Dresses are NOT available to take home on the same day.
Rush fees are available for those on a tight time-frame. please contact us directly to discuss this further.
Q. Is there parking nearby?

YES!
There is ample car parking in a local paid car park. (Please see linked PIN on home page) just a 1 minute walk away.
We are located just past Chepstow Library, Opposite AH Hairdressing.
Q. What sizes do you stock in store?
We stock a variety of sizes in store, from size 10-26uk, However we can cater from a size 6uk, up to size 36uk size.
If you are worried about sizing, please contact Auralou directly where we are happy to help and measure you that no matter what size or shape you are we have dresses to fit and make you feel as beautiful as you deserve to feel.
Our staff are trained to ensure we cater to all sizes and have the ability to adapt most dresses to fit a variety of body shapes.
Q. Does Auralou allow children in store?
We are a no children policy here at Auralou-Bridal to ensure our brides have our full attention during your exclusive appointment.
However as a single mum of Three little ones my self I do have compassion for those who may struggle with childcare.
Please contact Auralou-Bridal directly to discuss any issues or enquires you may have and we will do our best to support your needs.
Q. What are the Do's and Donts before your appointment?
Our personal recommendation is to not leave it less than a year prior to your wedding, YES you heard correctly, less than a year. This is to eliminate unnecessary additional fees.
It is also important to consider booking your bridal dress shopping experience when you are ready to commit. Searching before you are ready to commit may lead to finding your perfect dress too early meaning when you are ready to finally commit this dress may no longer be available.

However, if your wedding is less than a year away, we can still offer support in finding your dream dress. It is important to consider additional rush fees depending on the time frame and dress chosen. Please feel free to give us a call as we are happy to discuss this directly and offer as much support as we can. We strive on reducing as much unnecessary stress for our brides.
We have produced a breakdown to ensure your confident and have the best experience possible while looking for your perfect Gown,

Do's -
- Do determine a budget and we can advise on dresses within your price bracket
- Wear comfortable and convenient clothing
- Wear your undergarments you are wearing on the big day, or like for like if possible
- Bring your wedding shoes you are wearing on the day or the same height heels if possible ( We do have shoes to try on)
- We recommend you eat prior or bring snacks, trying on dresses can be exhausting
- Bring images of dresses/styles you like
- We recommend wearing light to little makeup
- Bring those who's opinions are important to you
- Style your hair in a style similar to how you would like it on the day. We have supplies to support this further to trial additional matching hair accessories on the day. although we do consider this takes time from trying on our beautiful gowns.
- We recommend a shower the morning of or the day before your appointment so you feel as fresh as you can during your exiting day.
- Mos importantly ENJOY YOURSELF !

Dont's
- Avoid perfumes if possible, deodorant is fine and we have additional in store for those conscious brides. This helps preserve our dresses for longer.
- Avoid booking too many schedules in one day, this can become very overwhelming and stressful and here at Auralou-Bridal we like to eliminate as much stress as possible for our brides. Take notes and pictures to help re-jog your memories.
- Don't bring the wrong guests, it is important to bring those who's opinions matter to you most, having too many opinionated guests can lead to confusion and disappointment.
- Don't shop before you are ready to commit !
Finding the Dress of your dreams before your ready to purchase can lead to disappointment when in the future you come back to purchase the dress you previously loved, to find that dress is no longer in production. finding the one is a "NOW" moment, and a Now moment requires commitment and dedication
- Don't post pictures of your dresses on social media, just in case you decide that's the one and you give the big secret away to the wrong audience.

Q. Can I take pictures?
Yes we do allow pictures in our boutique of course, we know these memories are important.
HOWEVER, we do NOT allow you to take pictures of our brides in the dresses!!
We don't allow this as a picture does not give the true reflection of how you'll look on your big day or give the same impact at a later date.

We do allow pictures of the dresses on hangers or our mannequins but do not allow this content to be used for any additional marketing or promotional sales.
Q. I've found a dress i love but you don't have it in store.
Would you be able to get hold of it?
YES!
If we stock the designer in our store we most definitely will be able to get this on a loan basis for you.
Loan dresses are for a short time only so please take this into consideration when booking your appointment. We suggest giving us a call prior to booking to discuss this further with you directly.
Additional Fees may be applicable.
Q. What is your payment procedure?
When placing your order in store, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50%.
The additional 50% is then required on collection day.
Please note that all sales are final with a strict Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable and Non-Exchangeable policy.
Q. Will you buy my second hand wedding gown?
No!
Here at Auralou-Bridal we do not purchase second hand dresses no matter how gorgeous and good condition the gown.
We only buy directly from our chosen designers.
Q. Do you offer storage for my gown?
We do offer storage solutions for our brides however, There is an additional charged fee of £3 a week.
This payment is required from the seventh day after the delivery of your dress in our store up until the day you collect your gown.
Q. What happens if I am late or miss my appointment?
If you are more than 10 Minutes late for your appointment without 48 hours notice, this will result in you loosing this appointment.
on this occasion we are unable to offer refunds or rebooking.
This will require additional bookings made on your behalf and at your own expense.
